Bit9 is seeking a talented, service-oriented individual with technical agility to join the rapidly growing Professional Services team as an Associate Technical Services Consultant. The role supports our senior consultants and is critical to helping new customers start their implementations. Bit9 implementation service offerings are designed to ensure that new Bit9 customers are set up for success with implementation and ongoing operation of the product in their environment.
Essential Responsibilities Include: Support other Technical Services Consultants’ projects through troubleshooting, case management, research, custom rule development and validation, deliverable preparation, and coordination with our customers and supporting staff. Collect and document technical requirements from customers and configure the Bit9 software to work within the capabilities of the application for those requirements. Review the configuration decisions that are available to customer and provide guidance on best practices. Work efficiently with customer technical support team to solve customer issues. Contribute to technical documentation, including best practices material development and maintenance. 10-20% overnight travel
Qualifications & Requirements BA/BS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience 2+ years of Information Technology experience on the corporate or consulting side 1+ years customer facing experience in a support or consulting implementation role, including some basic project management experience Experience with multiple operating systems, security policies and terminologys Fundamental skills to create, manage, and maintain project definition and design documentation Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. Proven ability to effective engage and work with technical support, engineering, and other teams within an organization to drive customer success.
