As an Associate Product Manager at Sessions Health, you will help drive the growth and development of our electronic health record platform while building essential product management skills. Working closely with the Lead Product Manager, Senior Product Designer, the engineering team, key stakeholders, and customer-facing colleagues, you will support feature development, customer research, and ongoing product improvement within a focused healthcare technology company. This remote role reports directly to the Lead Product Manager and is designed for early-career professionals who want mentorship and hands-on experience in SaaS product development.

**Key Responsibilities**

Sessions Health supports thousands of mental health professionals through its HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) platform. Our mission is to make therapists’ and behavioral health practices’ work easier through thoughtful, user-centered technology.

**Product Planning and Prioritization**
– Support the development of the product roadmap and strategic planning
– Help prioritize feature work based on customer needs and business goals
– Partner with the Lead Product Manager on quarterly planning and ongoing cycles
– Evaluate and rank product improvement opportunities
– Contribute to requirements gathering and product specification writing

**Product Beta Testing and Quality Assurance**
– Perform thorough beta testing for new features and product updates
– Record test results, identify issues, and recommend improvements
– Help ensure product quality standards are met before releases
– Support product-led QA and work with engineering to ensure appropriate test coverage and release readiness

**Continuous Product Improvement**
– Track product performance and identify areas for enhancement
– Analyze customer feedback trends and turn insights into product improvements
– Support the ongoing optimization of existing features and user workflows
– Research industry best practices and competitive activity to guide improvement ideas
– Lead initiatives that improve user experience and product functionality

**Customer Research and Feedback**
– Conduct customer interviews and usability testing to gather feedback
– Review support tickets to identify common user issues and requests
– Collaborate with the Customer Success team to understand user pain points
– Document customer insights and translate them into actionable product recommendations

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
– Participate in planning cycles and daily stand-ups with engineering
– Work with the Senior Product Designer on user experience improvements and feature design
– Coordinate product launches and feature rollouts across teams
– Support competitive research and market analysis
– Help connect product, engineering, Customer Success, and leadership teams through clear communication

**Required Skills & Experience**

**Core Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, technology, or a healthcare-related field
– 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, project coordination, or customer-facing roles
– Strong interest in healthcare technology and improving user experiences

**Essential Skills**
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational and project management abilities
– Customer-focused mindset, including experience collecting and synthesizing feedback
– Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions
– Detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance
– Comfort with technology and eagerness to learn new tools and processes

**Preferred Experience**
– Experience with B2B SaaS products or healthcare technology
– Background in product testing, quality assurance, or user research
– Familiarity with agile development practices
– Experience in customer success, support, or other client-facing roles
