As a Ruby developer you will be responsible for the development of systems that are being used to annually get more than 45.000 students the jobs they want and the salary they consequently get. Our database hosts over 3 million candidates from many different countries, which makes this a very challenging task. We scrum our performance every twee weeks, which means you’ll be working at a variety of projects. For example, the improvement of our vacancy sites, incentives software, planning systems, invoicing software and E-learning applications. Because we use all our software within the company, you’ll instantly see how your code gets put into practice. This in turn, gives us direct feedback to improve your coding which is very exciting!

All applications are home made. To do this, we use the web application framework Ruby on Rails. Besides that, we use Git, ElasticSearch, Sidekiq with Redis, MySQL, Nginx, Unicorn and Chef.
