Position Overview: XPO Logistics is seeking a accounts payable/ receivable clerk. Duties include: processing weekly payables, check run, receivables deposit, invoicing, collections. Motivated individual with excellent customer service, written /verbal skills, and must be detail oriented. Ability to multi task and work in a high volume environment. Benefits available. This is a telecommute position and all duties will be carried out remotely . Salary: $23.00/hourly Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule and process accounts payable checks timely Reconcile payments with vendor ledgers Resolve invoice discrepancies Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Reviews all invoices for appropriate charging instructions, documentation, and approval prior to payment and maintains confidentiality of all information. Data entry of invoices Prepare and process accounts payable checks Maintain vendor file Set up new vendors Correspond with vendors Assist with month end closings Perform additional duties as assigned Monitor and maintain inventory levels. Enter invoices into accounting software. Ordering office supplies Scanning Making bank deposits- cash handling Administrative duties including but not limited to scanning, copying, and filing Qualifications: Accounting or combined work and education that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required duties. Very effective organization skills Ability to work within time constraints, while maintaining a positive attitude Highest attention to details and level of accuracy
