We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Specialist to help us set up and optimize our financial processes in compliance with the legislation of Lithuania and Estonia.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records for two legal entities in Lithuania and Estonia
- Oversee taxation, submission of primary reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit financial and accounting reports, including VAT reports, payroll calculations, and related contributions, annual reports, reports to the Central Bank, etc
- Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control
- Establish and maintain reporting for internal and external audits
- Advise the team on financial and tax matters related to operations in Lithuania and Estonia
- Understand the specifics of cryptocurrency transactions and interaction with banks and payment systems
- Prepare management reporting on financial performance (P&L, Cash Flow)
Requirements
Key competencies:
- 3+ years of experience as an accountant or finance specialist
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- Experience in fintech or crypto companies is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation in Lithuania and Estonia
- Experience preparing and submitting statutory reports in these jurisdictions
- Detail-oriented, independent, and organized
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience working with international financial reporting standards
- English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Russian at an Upper-Intermediate level is a plus
- Knowledge of Lithuanian or Estonian languages is a plus
