Are you a remote business hustler who loves tackling a constantly changing stream of special projects? If you enjoy working at your computer to organize, solve problems, and support a high-caliber, fast-paced small business team—and you’re looking to start with 10–20 hours of consistent work per week before growing into a full-time role down the road—this is the perfect position for you.

This role is straightforward in purpose and broad in scope. The goal is simple: take projects off the CEO and COO’s plate and build systems to run them smoothly. It’s multifaceted because you’ll manage projects across the business, from sales and finance to operations—covering scheduling, invoicing, marketing, accounts payable, and the day-to-day details that keep a small business running. Below is a detailed look at the initial projects you’ll lead, and rest assured your responsibilities, scope, and compensation will expand as you successfully take ownership of more work. You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate with a small leadership team committed to excellence. The role begins at 10–20 hours per week and will grow into a full-time “Account Manager and Remote Business Operations” position.

**Responsibilities**
– Create irrigation proposals in ServiceTitan.
– Each day, our licensed irrigators conduct monthly irrigation inspections in the field using tablets. These inspections produce a PDF proposal that must be converted into a ServiceTitan proposal (ServiceTitan is our project management system that handles proposals, scheduling, and invoices).
– Sales: follow up with customers until a final decision is made.
– Special follow-ups: Proscape sends many maintenance, irrigation, and enhancement proposals each week. Most are approved or rejected, but some receive no response. Your task is to identify unanswered proposals and move those customers into an email follow-up sequence to reach a final decision.
– Special Projects: organize, execute, and complete.
– Special projects are ongoing and varied, such as organizing customers by zip code, converting contract information into spreadsheets, and turning voice memo notes into proposals.
– Communicate weather-related delays to customers.
– We value consistency, and customers expect the same crew to service their property on the same day each week. When weather prevents work, you’ll notify affected customers and communicate the updated service plan.
– Invoicing corrections.
– We issue hundreds of invoices each month, and corrections, credits, and adjustments must be coordinated with our CFO.
– Tolls.
– Track our 35 vehicles and ensure timely payments across the three toll services in town.
– City of Austin Irrigation Audits: manage and schedule the inspector.
– Each property must pass a bi-annual irrigation inspection. You’ll manage and schedule the inspector to ensure each customer is inspected and passes on time.

**We’re looking for people with the following attitudes and traits**
– Self-motivation
– A relentless work ethic
– Strong desire to learn
– Fearlessness when given new and challenging projects
– Radical ownership
– Appetite to grow into more responsibility and higher compensation
– Comfort receiving negative feedback and adjusting accordingly
– A deep belief that any mess can be cleaned up, organized, and managed

**Job Requirements**
– If you have the attitudes listed above, there are few additional requirements
– Reliable, high-speed internet connection
– 2 hours of overlap between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm CDT
– Work at least 4 days per week
