Welo Data is launching an exciting project and is looking for talented individuals to join our team as Transcribers. This remote role involves accurately transcribing audio recordings while adding meaningful context through tagging and timestamps. **What you will do:**
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and transcribe content with a high level of accuracy.
– Include timestamps in your transcriptions to match the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to improve project outputs.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally appropriate and capture the intended tone and meaning.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
– Meet deadlines and follow the required transcription guidelines and formatting standards.

**Project Details**
– **Commitment:** Flexible; minimum 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 hours depending on availability).

– **Pay Rate:** $35/hour

**Requirements:**
– Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus strong English skills.
– Previous experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects is highly preferred.
– Ability to recognize and differentiate regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues from audio.
– Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to produce error-free transcriptions.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software and experience adding timestamps and tags.
– Availability to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
