Project Scout Search Quality Rater

Are you a search engine expert? Do you know how to quickly find what you’re looking for using just a few keywords? Do you often understand what someone means before they finish their sentence? If so, we’d love to put your skills to the test.

Welocalize is looking for English speakers to support our client’s project as a Search Quality Rater.

In this role, you’ll use your ability to understand intent to improve the online search experience. The main goal of this project is to build and enhance AI data. In practical terms, you’ll provide both subjective and objective ratings based on the project’s rules and guidelines.

All tasks must be completed in American English.

What does success look like?
Qualified raters complete randomized monthly certification exams that are similar to normal rating tasks. If you fail an exam, you’ll be removed from active rating and would need to re-qualify if you want to rejoin the program. You’ll be able to choose your own schedule to meet weekly goals. Support from the project management team is available only during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Pacific).

Project Details
Job Title: Search Quality Rater
Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)
Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week, up to 25 hours per week; set your own schedule (you can take tasks whenever you’re available—weekends and evenings are fine)
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: W2 Part-Time Employee (paid every two weeks/bi-monthly via automatic direct deposit/bank transfer or by physical check if preferred)
Project Length: 12 months, with the possibility of extension

Work is based on project needs, and weekly hours may change.

Note: If you currently work, or have prior experience, as an “Ads Quality Rater,” you unfortunately will not be able to participate in our Search Quality Rating project.
