Piton Labs is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support our next phase of expansion. As the first person in this role, you’ll be key to growing our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates based between GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT-3 are preferred, though others may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You will be involved in the entire sales process—from identifying prospects to closing deals—with support from our founding team. While you don’t need deep technical expertise, having a solid understanding of software development and the broader tech landscape will help you communicate our value effectively to potential customers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Finding and reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Creating and executing targeted sales strategies for our main markets (startups and corporate innovation)
• Partnering with the engineering team to share customer insights and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication
• Clearly explaining and demonstrating our solutions and how they meet customer needs

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
• Native or near-native English
• 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in a technology-focused role
• Proven track record of acquiring new customers
**REMOTE WORK POLICY**
• Fully remote, no need for an in-office presence
• Preference for candidates in the United States with work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to maintain a 4–6 hour overlap with the U.S. Eastern Time zone on most days
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no need for a fixed work location
