We are looking for experienced language professionals to contribute to an ongoing project aimed at reviewing and enhancing Portuguese (Portugal) customer service content. The role involves refining machine‑translated text to ensure it is accurate, natural, and aligned with project guidelines.
What you will do:
• Edit and review machine‑translated customer service materials with high accuracy and consistency.
• Evaluate the quality of MT output and assign severity ratings when needed, following project instructions.
• Produce high‑quality human translations to be used as reference data for model training and quality evaluation.
• Adhere to established style guides, tone expectations, and terminology rules.
• Identify recurring MT issues and report trends across assigned batches.

• Language: Portuguese (Portugal)

• Duration: Ongoing
• Workload: Intermittent, with tasks assigned throughout the year based on client needs. Volume and timing may vary.
• Hourly rate: $17.01
Requirements:
• Native‑level proficiency in the target language and strong command of English.
• Experience in translation, localization, or MT post‑editing.
• Familiarity with machine translation quality assessment and error detection.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently in an online environment.
Compensation: $17.01 per hour
