Are you a detail‑oriented professional with excellent listening and transcription abilities? Welo Data is launching a new project and looking for skilled individuals to join our team as Transcribers. In this remote role, you will accurately convert audio recordings into text while adding meaningful context through tagging and timestamps. What you will do:
– Listen to audio in the target language and create accurate transcriptions.
– Add timestamps to keep the text aligned with the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other metadata to improve project quality.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally accurate and convey the intended tone and meaning.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality.
– Follow transcription guidelines, formatting rules, and deadlines.

Project Details
Commitment: Flexible, minimum 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 depending on availability).
Job Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Requirements:
– Native‑level or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus strong English skills.
– Prior experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic tasks is highly preferred.
– Ability to identify regional accents, emotional cues, and context in audio.
– Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
– Experience using transcription tools/software and working with timestamps and tags.
– Ability to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, high‑quality work.
