Who You Are
Brightwheel is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Analytics team. We need a top‑tier problem solver and structured thinker who can break down complex challenges and use data to find solutions. This role will answer high‑priority business questions to fuel growth and deliver day‑to‑day reporting across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams. You will also collaborate closely with the Data & Analytics Engineering team to build and refine operational datasets that support analytics and key workflows.

The ideal candidate acts quickly, excels at finding clarity in complexity, and has a strong track record of using analytics to drive meaningful results. You should be technically capable of uncovering insights efficiently and communicating them in a way that inspires action.

What You’ll Do
• Analyze quantitative data from multiple sources to deliver insights that help leaders understand critical business questions, including identifying and measuring key drivers of performance
• Define analyses and metrics that inform our go‑to‑market strategy and measure progress on company priorities
• Build dashboards for executives and report on company initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success
• Create scalable analytical solutions while working closely with Data Engineering to ensure sustainable data sources
• Partner with internal stakeholders to manage, prioritize, and deliver reporting and analytical requests
• Collaborate with cross‑functional operational teams to support ongoing data discovery and adoption

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
• 3–4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar technical role, or 1–2 years as an analyst combined with 1–2 years in consulting or a comparable field
• Strong SQL skills, including optimizing and debugging complex queries (ETL experience preferred)
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Sigma
• Experience interpreting complex datasets and working with relational databases
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including storing, managing, and retrieving large datasets across systems
• Proven ability to build trust across all levels of an organization and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Ownership mindset with the ability to independently initiate, prioritize, and complete projects
• Experience with dbt, Tableau, Airflow, or Salesforce is a plus
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests is a plus

Compensation
Salary range: $104,000–$138,000 per year

Compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and geographic location and are benchmarked against similar high‑growth companies. Final offers depend on factors such as location, experience, and expertise. Candidates applying from other regions may ask their recruiter about the compensation range for their area.
