The Role:

We are looking for a talented Senior WordPress Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our WordPress-based projects. You should have extensive experience in PHP programming, WordPress plugin development, and a solid understanding of database management.

What we are looking for:

• Develop and maintain high-performance WordPress plugins and themes.

• Optimize website performance through backend improvements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements.

• Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend web development, with at least 4 years focused on WordPress development.

• Profound knowledge of PHP and MySQL.

• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), CPT UI, and custom plugin development.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating external services with WordPress.

• Proficiency in version control tools, particularly Git.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) is a plus.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
