• Improve our web infrastructure with Chef and AWS

• Play a key role in building the future of online learning tools

• Improve system monitoring and metrics collection

• Build tools and processes to help us detect and respond to operational issues more quickly

• Improve fault tolerance within our apps to eliminate single points of failure

• Develop ChatOps tools for monitoring and responding to outages from our company chat

• Build developer tools to keep devs happy and shipping

• Be a part of 24×7 on-call rotation with other members of the Web Ops team handling production outages

• Triage tickets raised by our internal support team and implement fixes

• Share animated GIFs for all occasions!
