Sr. Web Developer (Ecomm)

TheSr.Web Developer builds and maintains websites focused on using PHPtechnologies such asMagento, Drupal, and Laravelas well asJavaScriptand other web-based programming languagesand frameworks.Ideal candidates will have experience and proficiency with building user interfaces, stay up-to-date with new technologies and design approaches, present ideas and recommend solutions, possess strong communication skills, and havetheability to lead and collaborate as part ofalargerteam.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain professional web sites used foreCommerce, marketing,information, and entertainment

• Provide Magento solutions that allow the business flexibility and speed in handling eCommerce initiatives.

• Produceengaging UX experiences using HTML, CSS,JavaScript,jQuery, AJAX, Nodejs,andAngular

• Provide Drupal CMS solutions that allow business stakeholders flexibility and speed in handling site content

• Developnew and existingMagentoextensions

• Develop extended functionalitywith MySQL and PHP

• Interact with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensureconsistent highquality and performance of the websites

• Review code for quality, best practices, and security

• Work withtheQA department and Product Owners to make sure functional requirementsare met

• Perform activities related to support and developmentwithinproject teams

• Awareness of project timelines and schedules, and the ability to break down work to meet expectations

• Understanding of project scope and the ability to provide feedback and alternatives

• Design solutions in addition to completing tasks

• Abilityto efficiently troubleshoot complex problems, including root cause analysis

• Leadership of other Developers in applying eCommerce and Magento standards and best practices

• Collaboration among development and project teams to ensure successful delivery of work product

• Strong graspofresponsive design

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Mentoring of more junior developers

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent combination of experience and education required

• FouryearsFull Stack PHP/ HTML / CSS /JavaScriptexperience

• Fouryears of Magento development, including Commerce Cloud (Enterprise)

• Two years of Laravel, or similar development framework, experience

• Twoyears LAMP stack development

• Three years of JavaScript development experience, MVC framework experience preferred

• Three years MySQL experience preferred

• Drupal (or other CMS) experience including module development and advanced theming preferred– Drupal 8 experience preferred
