We are looking for a rounded web developer who can demonstrate:

• Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python (preferred) or Java and familiarity with modern technology stacks (e.g. Spring or Django).

• HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, ideally with jQuery experience, and an interest and awareness of emerging web standards.

-Experience of deploying and maintaining websites with Apache, Linux, and either MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

-A real appreciation of clean, well-tested, well-documented code.

-Experience of Agile development practices such as Test Driven Development and User Stories.

-Appreciation, and ideally experience of, Data Science tools and approaches such as modelling, algorithm development, Bayesian forecasting and data filtering.

• Experience in Excel, big data technologies or high-performance data engineering a bonus.

• Good client communication and questioning skills.

You should have a good relevant technical degree, or equivalent level of experience. We are mainly looking for experienced developers, but would also consider recent graduates, so long as you can show both talent and enthusiasm and can demonstrate some examples of recent coding experience.
