In this position, you’ll be designing and developing a web application to automate parts of the tour management Process. You’ll be simultaneously maintaining and improving Booksmart, an existing application and the foundation of Booksmart Touring.

While features vary from day to day, you’ll have a large input in how the features are implemented, as well as what new features will be in the pipeline. You will work closely with mobile application developers to create a data access API which can be used by both the web and mobile applications.

Candidates should: Have 1-3 years of experience with full-stack web application development Have knowledge of PHP, HTML, Javascript, and CSS Be familiar with SQL database systems and design Have experience with client/server and MVC architectures Have experience with version control system, preferably Git/Github Be comfortable in a Unix development environment Understand development best practices and Object Orientation Be comfortable jumping into an existing code base

The following more specific experience is a plus: PHP Laravel AngularJS Data Mapper Patterns Experience in developing/using API’s Security development skills
