HLK, a full-service digital agency, with offices in St. Louis and Denver, is looking for a Web Application Developer to join our growing development team.

The successful candidate must have insatiable desire to learn, explore and implement technology solutions for our clients while aligning with the agency’s core values: Be Curious, Be Thoughtful and Be Brave.

Areas of Competence and Understanding:

• Experience developing data-driven web applications

• Utilize new development technologies to find creative solutions for web application

• Deep understanding of ASP. Net, ASP . NET MVC, SQL and experience with some major web frameworks for these languages

• Ability to assess, use and create your own APIs

• Use your knowledge of server-side technology to architect or data to build scalable, high-performing technology solutions

• Ability to work within acollaborativeteam environment wearing multiple hats

• Desire to continuously learn new languages, platforms and skills

• Write technical documentation and create diagrams to be used by thedevelopmentteam during programming stages

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience programming

• Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing)

• Has experience with modern data planning/management, front-end technology, frameworks, and libraries

• Has experience with REST APIs using AJAX and JSON

• Has experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures

• Has strong planning and architecture skills

• Hasexperiencewith Agile Methodology
