The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of complex, best-in-class communication tools as directed by the CMO or Creative Director. The Graphic Designer will help to conceptualize, design and implement solutions for projects which often have a high degree of visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement large and/or complex design solutions to deliver on objectives in written creative briefs
- Provide and present design options and exploration, as well as clear recommendations for preferred design approach.
- Ability to create brand style guidelines and ensure accountability.
- Consistently deliver against established brand style guidelines.
- Analyze asset requests to ensure appropriate usage and fulfill as needed.
- Generate all required print files for projects.
- Evaluate project manager requests in conjunction with available executable options—including knowledge of a wide variety of substrates/materials and printing processes against time and financial constraints.
- Demonstrate experience and success in a particular area of design execution such as digital, multi-media, packaging, illustration etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA or BFA in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience of at least 4 years in the design field including experience with developing packaging and managing the work of others.
- Advanced technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) including at least one specialty, and proficient Microsoft Office skills especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Critical thinking and reasoning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative Skills, such as copywriting and advanced interpretive input.
- Ability to work as an integral part of a fast-paced creative team.
- Ability to work autonomously.
