THE OPPORTUNITY

We have created over 20 video courses and even multiple brands to serve our readers. If you click those links, you’ll notice that we take a different approach to building our products: We’re only interested in building products that will be #1 in their category. We spend as much time and money in R&D as it takes to build the world’s best — often, years of testing. As a result, in a world of $10 ebooks and $20 video courses, our students spend thousands of dollars on our courses and continue coming back for more.

If you had a budget, staff, and time to create the best, what kind of products would you create? What would they look like and what kind of results would they produce for the people who use them?

As VP of Product, you’ll report directly to our CEO and work closely with other members of our Leadership Team. You will create a vision of what our next-generation products will look like, build a world-class product team and develop and execute on a multi-year product roadmap. The products you conceive and create will produce incredible (measurable) results and you’ll be able to see first-hand the impact you have on our students’ lives.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE You will drive all aspects of product strategy, including vision, roadmap and staffing.

YOU ARE A VISIONARY

You have experience in outlining a clear and inspiring vision, and championing it in the organization to get buy-in from the entire IWT team to follow your product vision.

You anticipate change and know when your vision needs to be adjusted based on feedback and changes in the market.

You’re not afraid to take risks and innovate into new areas to expand our products beyond online courses into technology, tools, mobile and other product types.

YOU HAVE DEVELOPED MULTI-YEAR PRODUCT ROADMAPS

You have experience developing multi-year product roadmaps in accordance with your vision, and have demonstrated experience executing on the roadmap.

You have incorporated technology tools, mobile products and other product types into your product portfolio planning.

You have a track record of taking already successful products to the next level.

We already know how to make high quality products. We need your expertise to crank up the volume and implement a scalable process for future product areas.

YOU HAVE BUILT A WORLD-CLASS PRODUCT TEAM

You have experience in all aspects of building out a high-performing product team, including recruiting, onboarding and continuous training and development.

Your have lead cross-functional teams consisting of Product Managers, Developers, Project Managers, Designers and Writers.

You bring a unique management philosophy that motivates the team to do the best work of their careers.

YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT ONLINE BUSINESS

You have deep experience with online business and various revenue models.

Ideally, you have started your own online business or consulted with others to scale their business.

Our team is global and 100% virtual – you can work remotely from anywhere in the country.
