VP Engineering at ReCharge
We’re looking for a person who has a passion for designing and building teams and processes to release customer centric products at high velocity. You will be managing our team of talented engineers and report to our CTO. We are in a fast growing self funded startup and you will play a vital role in growing the engineering department from 10 to 30+ in the coming 12-16 months. About ReCharge
We have two missions at ReCharge: make it easy for people to sell subscription products online, and make our company an amazing place to work. The first mission began as three people working out of a small apartment, trying to solve one of the biggest problems facing Shopify merchants: recurring payments. Now we’re at the forefront of recurring billing software, empowering tens of thousands of entrepreneurs to sell their products as subscriptions, and processing billions of dollars in sales every year.

VP Engineering responsibilities:
Delivering improvements, features and new exciting products at a fast pace
Creating and refining engineering structure and processes
Managing of engineering team (hiring, firing, development, scoping, etc)
Working with CTO to prioritization of projects and rallying the team around it
Necessary skills and experience:
You are a great communicator and love technical management
You have run high performing technical teams
You have strong technical background and moderate debates, provide insights, challenge teammates to inquire, and provide the final say when needed
You have had experience with fast growing teams
You have practical experience with agile methodology
