CourseWorld.org, a nonprofit video library of Arts & Humanities lectures, is looking for board candidates who share a passion for liberal arts education and the possibilities of online technology.
Responsibilities vary based on individual backgrounds and areas of expertise. Generally speaking, as a small but fast-growing grassroots initiative, we are looking for assistance in professionalizing our organization and helping to secure funding – especially as a means of improving our online platform.
Our initiative is fully volunteer-run. For further background, interested candidates are welcome to request a handbook that outlines the structure of our organization, volunteer activities, and marketing initiatives.
Together, let’s make it possible for anyone in the world to access a quality liberal arts education for free.

We are looking for candidates who possess a keen interest in higher education (especially the arts and humanities) and who believe in the promise of Internet technology to democratize access for all.
Beyond this, we welcome the opportunity to learn more about your individual background and areas of expertise to determine how best you can help further our mission.
As a global initiative, NYC residence is not required. For those board members not locally based, meetings can be attended by phone or videoconference.
