You will be responsible for leading user experience and visual interaction designs from project inception to delivery. Working closely with a core team, you will be the critical bridge between business requirements, product execution, and users to ensure we build products that meet our users’ needs, add value to our business, celebrate our brand promise, and are technically sound. Ideally, you can put some front-end development skills to work for prototyping and/or production implementation of new features.

Requirements:

¥ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

¥ 2-5 years experience designing usable interfaces and interactions

¥ Can balance user needs, technology constraints and business goals to create a usable product

¥ Excellent user interaction design skills, including wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity prototypes

¥ Experience with consumer web-based products, across mobile, web and desktop platforms; responsive design experience is a plus

¥ A clean visual aesthetic, and passion for creating simple & delightful interfaces.

¥ Strong CSS and HTML skills

¥ Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite

¥ A portfolio that clearly demonstrates design innovation and expertise

¥ Thrives in small team, self-directed environments

Preferred qualifications:

¥ Experience with Object Oriented JavaScript and modern JS libraries (e.g. Angular)

¥ Experience with Lean and Agile software development practices

Responsibilities:

¥ Define the interaction and/or interface for new and existing products and features.

¥ Provide development team with design specifications & visual assets

¥ Design and analyze usage metrics to inform product design decisions

¥ Support Marketing department on an as-needed basis

¥ Create digital design assets & design specifications as needed
