Job Description
The Patient Safety Observer is responsible for continuously monitoring patients to support their safety and prevent harm.

Primary Responsibilities
• Continuously observe multiple patients at the same time
• Identify safety risks based on nurse‑guided criteria
• Verbally redirect patients using a two‑way audio device located in their rooms
• Alert staff when patients need assistance, following proper etiquette and escalation procedures
• Verify patient information during all interactions
• Document all interactions with patients and clinical staff
• Demonstrate competence with various technology platforms

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in patient care preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
• Strong computer skills
