Video & Motion Graphics Designer
The Role:
We are seeking a Video and Motion Graphic Designer to create, capture, and produce engaging visual content for social media, events, and digital campaigns. You’ll create dynamic videos and motion graphics optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. If you have a passion for storytelling, creative editing, and motion design, we’d love to have you on our team.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Capture high-quality video content using smartphones or compact cameras for events, interviews, testimonials, and social media platforms.
- Execute video shoots based on creative briefs and marketing objectives.
- Quickly edit and deliver short Instagram Stories and Reels during live events, ensuring brand consistency.
- Edit short- and long-form videos optimized for multiple formats (9:16, 16:9, 1:1) for various digital platforms.
- Handle basic lighting, framing, sound recording, and stabilization setups to ensure professional results.
- Perform colour correction, sound enhancement, and apply motion transitions to improve overall video quality.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to maintain consistent visual identity and messaging across campaigns.
- Keep up to date with current mobile video trends, social media storytelling techniques, and platform-specific best practices to ensure fresh, engaging, and relevant content.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Main requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field – or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in mobilography, videography, and video editing.
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating professional-quality shooting and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro; basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects will be considered an advantage.
- Proven experience in using gimbals and mobile stabilization gear for professional video capture.
- Solid understanding of mobile camera settings, lighting techniques, and composition principles.
- Demonstrated experience producing social media content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong sense of storytelling, editing rhythm, and attention to visual and narrative detail.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
