Clique is looking for a talented designer to help streamline our user experience. We are a Seattle-based start-up building a group-focused social platform that makes it easy to share what you are browsing online with friends. We are building an alternative to purely algorithmic "personalization" solutions, creating a platform based on the idea that our friends know what truly inspires and excites us.
This position offers a lot of flexibility and autonomy but requires a real self-starter. Successful candidates will be able to engage fully throughout the design process, from inital user research and analytics to assisting in feature implementation and design, with the goal of creating a vibrant online community. Initial work will consist of assisting in ongoing iterative design and site buildout as well as overseeing user demographic and journey analysis. The position is part-time with the opportunity to expand to full-time dependent on individual and company performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in User-Centered Design & User Research
- Demonstrated ability to create seamless UX/UI experiences
- Passion for analytical design frameworks
- Interest in digital storytelling & online communities
Preferred Skills:
- Previous early stage start-up experience
- Front-end development ability
