Wonolo is looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our Product Design team. In this role you’ll partner with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to identify, prioritize, plan and execute high-impact research studies. You are metrics-minded and utilize diverse research methodologies to uncover deep insights to drive the product development process for the worker experience.

What you’ll do:

Design and execute research using the right methodologies for the right questions in a highly collaborative environment, working with business stakeholders, product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers
Engage with research participants on both the business-side and worker-side, online and offline, including onsite visits to warehouses to interact directly with our users
Prioritize research needs and approaches across multiple work streams to define the right projects, scale, scope, and timing
Generate actionable insights that shape how product teams think about both long-term strategy and short-term tactics
Communicate insights in creative and compelling ways to internal stakeholders and company-wide
Give feedback in design critiques, coach the team through design and UX decisions, make strategic decisions with your peers in Product and Engineering
Enable your peers to learn and apply research skills by building research programs and processes to empower them to assist and conduct tactical research

Who you are:

5+ years experience conducting research in applied research settings
Experience designing products in either B2C or B2B environments
Expert in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Effectively interpret, organize, and communicate insights from experiment and survey data
Well versed in user experience strategy, process and design thinking
You demonstrate a commitment to advancing representation and inclusion

Preferred:

MA/MS/PhD in human behavior-related fields (Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Information Science, Economics, Political Science, etc.)
