User Interface Developer – Emphasis on Angular.js / Nodejs / Data visualization
The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced User Interface developer based in Phoenix Az. For the right candidate remote work is a possibility with travel to Arizona several times per year.
You’ll be developing data analysis and visualization tools for Big Data applications based on Elasticsearch and MongoDB and will be a critical contributor to our Open Source projects in these areas.
The Day to Day:
Develop user interfaces for web applications people use every day
Find ways to make appsfun and natural, sousers intuitively know how to work the app
Build applicationsand back-end frameworks that are maintainable, flexible and scaleable
Participate in the Open Source community and improve our Open Source projects
Requirements:
Experience with Javascript, Angular.js and Nodejs
Experience with web technologies including REST, Web Sockets, HTML 5 and CSS
Development experience with any of Elasticsearch, Solr, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or other BIG databases
Familiarity with data visualization tools like D3.js, Highcharts, sigmajs or graphviz
Familiarity with jQuery
US Citizenship
Nice to haves:
Experience with Reactjs or similar libraries
Experience working with large amounts of XML or JSON data
Experience with Python, Ruby, Perl and/or shell scripting
Experience with the Go programming language
Mac OS X familiarity
BS or MS in a technology or scientific field of study
High energy level and pleasant, positive attitude!
