IT Project Manager

Job requirements

• We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end IT projects, creating and maintaining detailed project plans, tracking milestones, and communicating status updates effectively using tools like Jira/ Azure Devops, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects across various domains.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, Jira or similar tools
• Track project deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
• Prepare project presentations and status reports using PowerPoint.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel to support project decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project alignment and on-time delivery.
• Identify project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate change control processes.
• Ensure adherence to company project management methodologies and standards.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on planning and execution.
• Solid understanding of project management life cycle and best practices (Agile or Waterfall).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience in stakeholder management and executive reporting.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other project tracking tools.
• Experience with IT infrastructure or software development projects.
