THE ROLE | The Underwriter is responsible for evaluating and underwriting both Personal and Commercial Lines risks in accordance with Company guidelines, delegated authority levels, regulatory requirements, and sound underwriting principles. The role supports profitable growth, service excellence, quality documentation, renewal retention, and effective collaboration across the underwriting value chain.

THE PERSON | To be the ideal candidate you must have 3 years of experience, completed or pursuing Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Diploma Level or equivalent insurance qualification (as an asset). Another asset is completion or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance & Risk Management, Business Management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Word and Excel, strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with sound judgement and attention to detail.
