We’re looking for a talented Senior Python Engineer / Team Lead with SCADA experience to work remotely anywhere within the UK.
This is an opportunity to work on one of the leading scientific projects of the decade, exploring topics like general relativity, dark matter and the origins of the universe. Required skills and qualifications:
Required: Very strong software background
Required: Experience performing in a cross-disciplinary team
Required: Native level written and spoken English
Experience working with different languages and technologies
Experience working with agile and scaled agile development processes
Experience with GIT source code control
Experience with Test Driven Development
Experience with Behavioural Driven Design
Experience with modern test frameworks
Experience with continuous integration
Experience with structured release management
Not required, but would be a bonus if you have experience with:
Configuring instrumentation and commissioning control systems
TANGO control systems
Writing device drivers to interface to hardware on Linux operating systems
TCP/IP network protocols, network stacks, and application layer protocols
Software development in C and/or C++ programming languages
