Product Designer (UX, UI, Interaction)
Reporting to the Vice President of Product and Analysis, you will partner with product owners to create a consistent and polished user experience across company products. You will be a critical thinker who thrives on solving problems for product users through research, design, and iteration. The position will entail assisting in the evolution of current products, as well as the design of new products. This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates on the East Coast and in the Midwest. The candidate must live and be authorized to work in the United States.

What you’ll do here:

  • Conduct discovery, monitor usage data, engage in user testing, and conduct user interviews to help inform feature prioritization based on user needs
  • Create visually attractive products with accessibility standards in mind
  • Understand the problem space using field research and data analysis
  • Design human-centered solutions and create interaction design
  • Build wireframes, comps/layouts, & interactive protypes (we currently use Figma and UX Pin and are open to other tools)
  • Develop robust cross-product style guides and engage in ‘light’ branding work
  • Work alongside product owners and engineers to develop, execute and deliver your designs
Desired Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years UI/UX experience
  • Experience developing wireframes, comps/layouts. interactive prototypes, and style guides
  • Experience with agile (SCRUM framework) software development
  • Experience leading discovery and user research; comfortable speaking with users and stakeholders about their thoughts and experiences
  • Organized and can juggle the needs of several projects
  • Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with design systems
