Our expansion has created the need for a talented and experienced UI Developer to join our Product Strategy Team. Your challenge:
As our new UI Developer, you will support the middle and front end stack development of our product line of online databases. You will translate UI/UX design wireframes to code to produce a seamless digital experience for our users. You will work with a team of software developers on programming, analyzing, designing and maintaining web application code.
This position requires strong design acumen, with a focus on how our products engage users. The right candidate for this job is highly skilled in the development of robust, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Here are the things you will tackle:
Execute the full lifecycle of software development, including prototyping, requirements generation, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Bridge the gap between UX design and technical implementation, while taking an active role on both sides
Seek to improve the user experience by making web page interactions simple, easy and effective
Solicit feedback from design and technical staff on development needs
Conduct usability testing to resolve interface issues
Work with teams throughout the organization to understand client needs, identify user problems, and come up with creative solutions
What you’ll need:
5 – 7 years of hands-on experience as a UI Developer
Expertise in front end coding (HTML, ASP. NET)
A desire and willingness to be involved in the front end design
Proven ability to develop effective B2B, industrial strength web applications
Knowledge of website navigation best practices
Track record of delivering quality work on time
A strong portfolio demonstrating past web development experience
Passion and an eye toward user-centered design
High level of critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems
Superior attention to detail and craftsmanship
An understanding of information architecture
