WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As UI Designer you will be the visual genius of the CorQuests platform and our technologies. You will focus primarily on creating highly analytical and highly creative visual design concepts, interaction design, and usability design to create innovative graphic user interfaces. Your part will be to simplify our technology interfaces to be beautiful, easy to use, and intuitive for people to use as well as setting the high visual and design standards. As UI Designer you will:

Coordinate and collaborate with the design, development, engineering, and marketing teams on visual design, visual guidelines, visual branding, and user interaction design

Focus on creating visual appeal, functionality, intuitive user interaction, and usability based on feedback from beta testers, case studies, users, development team, and engineering team

Combine the research collected by the UX Designer(s) with interface layout design and development

Create design mockups, design layouts, high-fidelity prototypes, visual elements, interaction elements, element placements, logos, icons, typography, and user onboarding interactions

Eliminate unvalidated design features based on UX Designer tests, feedback, and research

Work closely with Frontend Engineer(s) and UX Designer(s) to focus on user-centered interaction design and planning

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Strong ability to conceptualize visual and interaction design

Strong ability to communicate visually and interactively(CQ Manifesto “Show! Don’t Tell”)

Strong ability to create intuitive user interactions as well as visual design comps

Strong ability to focus extreme attention on the smallest details for pixel perfect perfection of visual and interaction design

Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and other relevant design tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary and compensation

$40,000 — $100,000/year
