We’re looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to work in our Treasury team, providing direct and essential support for a variety of activities in the area.
The ideal person will be the operational engine of the team, handling daily routines, controlling and gathering the key data needed to support the team’s decision-making.
We’re seeking someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and a high level of proactivity to learn and ensure the quality of our core processes.
Key Responsibilities
– Cash Flow Management: Update cash flow spreadsheets and systems daily (inflows and outflows).
– Financial Investments: Perform operational control, record transactions in the system, and complete control spreadsheets for the investment applications in the portfolio.
– Indebtedness: Support operational control of collateral, complete loan/mutual maps, and track payment dates for debt operations.
– Derivatives: Help the team organize documentation and perform basic system updates for derivative transactions, ensuring physical and digital files are properly maintained.
– Working Capital Management: Collect, compile, and extract monthly billing and accounts receivable/payable data to support the calculation of financial cycle indicators (e.g., DSO by client).
– Internal and External Audit Support: Collect, organize, standardize, and file documentation evidence for all transactions, ensuring prompt responses and agility in audit requests.
– Credit Risk Analysis: Conduct customer data checks (KYC routine), query external databases (Serasa, Reuters, D&B), and compile documentation dossiers for new clients (prospects) for later review and approval by senior team members.
– Review and Optimization of Financial Results: Assist in preparing accounting schedules and filling spreadsheets for the monthly close.
– Compliance and Governance Control Maintenance: Ensure adherence to internal policies in operational routines (e.g., SOX controls), organizing supporting evidence files and keeping the area folders strictly up to date.
Requirements
– Completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting Sciences, or related fields.
– Experience with Financial Mathematics and cash flow.
– Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with a focus on Excel/GSheets for working with data and control spreadsheets.
– Strong organizational skills.
– Interpersonal ability to work in a team and a support-oriented profile.
