SVT Robotics is looking for a highly skilled, motivated Senior Software Automation Engineer to join our Customer Success team. Reporting to the Director of Solution Delivery, this role is critical in creating and executing an organization-wide strategy for automated testing of our solutions. The ideal candidate will develop reliable, high-performing applications that support this strategy, helping ensure our solutions are delivered to customers with confidence, efficiency, and dependability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and implement an organizational strategy for automated solution testing based on industry best practices.
– Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enable continuous testing and delivery pipelines.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Solution Delivery, Product Management, and Engineering, to understand requirements and ensure strong test coverage.
– Identify, prioritize, and automate test cases for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
– Improve testing automation processes, tools, and approaches to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
– Mentor and provide technical guidance to members of the Solution Delivery and Software Engineering teams, promoting continuous learning and innovation.
– Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in automation testing and apply them when appropriate.
– Partner with Customer Success and Software Engineering teams to support customer deployments and troubleshoot issues.
**Required Qualifications:**
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
– Proven software development experience with an emphasis on test automation, ideally in a SaaS environment.
– Extensive hands-on experience with testing automation tools and frameworks.
– Strong programming skills, preferably across multiple programming languages.
– Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
– Familiarity with API documentation and related technology concepts.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
– Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
– Experience with automated material handling or supply chain systems.
This is a 100% remote position. Applicants must live in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia.
$70,000 — $120,000 per year.
