What responsibilities does the Technology Operations Manager have?

As the Sentium’s Tech Operations Manager, you will have several key duties:

• Delivery oversight – with a growing number of international teams of consultants, engineers and researchers working for global clients, you will be involved in monitoring team performance, deliverables, project deadlines and inter-team collaboration.
• Recruitment & resource management – you will be responsible for growing Sentium’s international recruitment network, ensuring we consistently have the top talent to fulfill our client requirements.
• Internal operations – you will be responsible for optimising and streamlining Sentium’s internal processes, including knowledge transfer, ISO & GDPR compliance, Innovate grant applications etc.

What are the requirements for this position?

Sentium prioritises evidenced current ability above grades or background, however to help you decide if you might be suitable, the minimum viable candidate must have:

• An active working knowledge of modern tech advancements (cloud computing, big data, AI, BI). This will be tested rigorously at interview so please do not think you can pretend!
• 6+ years of experience in the IT / tech industry.
• 3+ years of experience in operations or management at an IT / tech company.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Delivery management experience in IT product and service teams.
• Experience with global IT recruitment
• Experience in either the Life Science or Finance industries
