Tenable is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join the Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS) engineering team. The Passive Vulnerability Scanner is the only vulnerability scanning product that delivers continuous real-time network monitoring in a non-intrusive manner. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of engineers working on several projects related to the PVS product.
Can you do this consistently?
Manage day-to-day activities of the PVS product engineering team through the development, unittestingand maintenance phases.
Directly manage engineers and provide feedback and guidance to them.
Work within an Agile development environment and manage the sprint activities and its schedule.
Maintain clear and effective communication within the PVS engineering team.
Continuous focus on improvement in the areas of performance, quality and reliability of the product.
Do you have the right skills?
7+ years of professional experience in enterprise network security applications.
At least 2 years experience leading or managing engineering teams.
Experience managing engineers and workflows in an Agile development life cycle.
Experience in at least oneobject orientedlanguage or scripting language.
Experience in building automated processes to accelerate development and unit testing processes.
B. S or M. S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
