Technical Sales Manager
The candidate will be working in a small company environment performing various sales, support, and client development tasks. The candidate will perform a variety of functions under the supervision of the Chief Technical Officer. The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
· Business development and sales of laser scanning products and services
· Prospecting and consulting with new customers and industries
· Demo of laser scanning applications and services
· Understanding technical challenges and providing solutions
· Technical support for laser scanning products and applications
Key Requirements:
- Hunter, outgoing mentality.
- Completion of a University/College degree program in a technical field,
- or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a technical sales capacity with related field experience.
- Strong hands-on technical ability.
- Previous experience with CAD and Laser Scanning applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Skills & Abilities:
- A self-starter with a strong ability to motivate others.
- 5+ years of proven Sales experience.
- Experience with CRM and lead-gen applications (preferably ZoHo).
- Ability to maintain a CRM from lead generation to closing.
- Ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Skilled in cold calling, with a persistent but friendly attitude.
- Ability to established relationships with key decision-makers within customer’s organization.
- Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
- Ability to match solutions to customer identified challenges and problems.
- Work independently as well as cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers and co-workers.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer site up to 25% of work time.
$40,000 – $50,000 a year
Above base salary plus uncapped commission plan.
This is a virtual office position that will make use of company-supplied technology and applications to keep virtual workers in communication. Technology support tools include Zoho CRM, RingCentral, https://seamless.ai, Google Workplace, and Quickbooks online. Hardware provision will include a laptop and access to cloud services. Travel for sales, consulting, and training will be periodically required.
