PeachWorks,is a growing company anda leader in providing enterprise software solutions for the restaurant industry. We are currently working on the second generation of our restaurant management software, building a PaaS stack based on Nodejs with an AngularJS front end. We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to work out of ouroffices in either Ann Arbor or Southfield.We are also open to possibility of hiring a remote employee.
We arelooking for a self-driven product manager with a strong software development background to work as a Technical Product Manager in our product group. You’ll work across all of PeachWork’s products and help developers – both internal and external – make the most out of our Peach Platform APIs and Integrations.
This position’s focus will primarily be on our developer audience – working to understand and create the best possible experience for anyone working with our APIs and App Builder. Experience working on products or technology related to restaurants, hospitality or retail is a plus. You will be directly responsible for defining and communicating product vision and guiding implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Work with our internal andexternal developers to understand issues and turn those insights intobacklog items
Gather developer and otherstakeholder feedback to validate that the product works against statedmetrics. Prioritize and deliver necessary enhancements
You enjoy writing code andwould be excited to do so to create documentation and support assets
Define, analyze and communicateplatform product roadmap aligned with business objectives and supported bybusiness cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis
Promote and create developerand customer loyalty through highly innovative, quality driven productstrategies and feature sets
Document and prioritize productspecifications including goals, use cases and requirements
Work with a cross-functionalteam to translate customer needs and technology directions into newfeatures and services
Product owner responsibilitieswithin an agile team, specifically documenting user stories and acceptancecriteria for new and existing platform functionality
Create awareness of technicalproduct offerings and driving vision into our sales/pre-sales technicalprocess
