Role:
We are looking to add someone to our new and growing Technical Operations team. We are seeking an individual who is always up for creative problem solving and communicating with a variety of teams across the organization. Remote applicants are welcome, as well as applicants that are looking for non-traditional schedules. You’ll be working with a globally diverse operations team, supporting our mission-critical application by resolving incidents and alerts, mitigating DDoS attacks, creating documentation and dashboards, and keeping NS1’s infrastructure running smoothly.
Technologies:
-Linux
-Ansible (or other automation tools)
-ELK Stack
-Grafana
-JunosOS
-BPF, iptables, packet analysis
Primary Responsibilities:
-Participate in 24×7 on call rotation
-Incident management and post mortems
-Writing clear and concise documentation
-Creating and maintaining metrics, dashboards and alerting
What we are looking for you to have:
-Linux system administration knowledge
-Experience with distributed systems
-Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
-Understanding of internet protocols
-Familiarity of automation tools
-Eagerness to participate in continuous process improvement
