What you will do

Manage and provide direction to a team of US and India based software engineers

Lead initiatives from a technical and project management perspective

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time with excellent quality

Conduct planning meetings that include but are not limited to providing development estimates, overall release planning/timelines, and managing costs

Be responsible for time reporting, production support, resolving team issues, and mitigating project risk

What you will bring

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Strong understanding of the SDLC

Ability to work effectively with offshore teams

Familiarity with both frontend and backend applications

Experience with test automation

Strong project estimation and planning

In-depth knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Comfortable with programming languages like Java J2EE

Experience in UNIX-like Operating Systems

Good understanding of architecture and highly available systems

What is required for application

Prior leadership experience

Experience managing staff augmentation including SOWs

Experience with legacy data center and cloud based applications

BS/MS in EE or CS
