We’re looking for an Infrastructure Technical Lead to help us scale as Aledade rapidly grows.

This position requires a passion for setting and following standards, employing innovative strategies for reducing risk, and scaling software to support business growth. We need your help simplifying systems and increasing engineering capacity by eliminating toil.
Technical Leads in the Infrastructure Zone at Aledade are responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex software solutions to meet our customers’ needs. Our infrastructure teams focus on operational configuration, data modeling, data ingestion, and system stability.

We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US.
Responsibilities

Drives the adoption of observables for measuring progress
Ensures that work conforms to our definition of done
Individually contributes excellent technical solutions
Estimates task, milestone, and project level of effort Identifies and clears roadblocks
Helps guide technology decisions that support our goals
Establishes and maintains best practices for logging, metrics, and alerting
Mentors Engineers and provides constructive and candid feedback
Works with PMs to develop technical roadmaps
Communicates technical designs, technical strategy, and project status to project teams, stakeholders, and engineering leadership
Embodies our values: Service, Inclusion, Accountability, Curiosity, and Evidence
Complies with HIPAA and is proactive about protecting our data

Experience

5+ years of programming experience or 4+ with a master’s degree
3+ years of experience creating and working with complex data models in SQL
2+ years of experience working with data, analyzing data, and understanding data
2+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting

Skills and Knowledge

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container platforms
Familiarity with ORMs
Experience implementing RESTful services
Experience using and improving CI/CD
Experience performance tuning an existing system
Experience implementing horizontal scaling
Experience with ETL
Strong foundational Unix/Linux experience

Nice to Haves

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
Experience with modern Python
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with Spark
Experience with Airflow
Experience with SQLAlchemy
Familiarity with Flask
Familiarity with healthcare information systems
