We are looking for a great frontenddeveloper (js+css) to scale The Dodo team. That’s a posting for outside the USA, only remote.

• You are confident enough that you don’t have to prove to anyone what a great developer you are, and therefore…

• You don’t mind being the one that looks bad when you deserve it. You make mistakes sometimes, because you’re human, but rather than dwell on them you choose to fix and then learn from them.

• You love to teach and learn from your co-workers.

• An interest in animal-related topics and audiences is a plus.

In this role you will be working with The Dodo’s product, social, video and editorial teams to help grow and advance our site for our ambitious plans. The role will include:

• Ensure our many types of content and articles look their best in every scenario (particularly mobile) and are optimized for page speed and sharing

• Implementing robust a/b testing strategies for article displays, share functions, newsletter acquisition and our other calls to action

• Helping conceive and develop strategies for acquiring user-generated photos, video, and their distribution

• Shaping and improving the user experience across the site

• Integrating revenue strategies including native advertising
