As Production admin, you will be responsible to guarantee, perform and optimize processes in accordance with Nielsen standards, configuration and administration of the TV rating production system and alternative home screens. Control the production processes of the databases committed to clients, guaranteeing the integrity and protection of the information. Provide technical support to users and/or clients of the system and have extensive knowledge of the installation methodologies of related equipment remotely and on site, as well as support actively in the implementation of contingency plans, guaranteeing the information backups availability, documenting the processes and system operation, as well as investigating and responding to atypical events detected in production systems.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and Maintain TAM System: Oversee the end-to-end TAM measurement production system, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance.
- Support Production Platforms: Assist in the installation, configuration, and general maintenance of production platforms on Windows/Linux servers.
- Monitor Performance: Track and monitor the performance of servers, related services, and ensure correct generation of audio signatures for TV signals.
- Control Updates and Processes: Manage updates, security packages, and control daily, weekly, and special production processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Guarantee Integrity: Verify production processes, confirm correct assignment of audiences, and guarantee the integrity and backup of information.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to users, install software for internal/external users, and manage system user registrations.
- Incident Management: Investigate, notify, resolve incidents, manage severities, and prevent recurrence of failure events.
- Documentation and Research: Document failures, research PolluxCS parameterization, configure system parameters, and generate/update inventories and documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure database quality, analyze audience behaviors, validate checklist steps, report status, and perform continuous quality validations.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Preferably a Systems, Communications, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineer or similar.
- Intermediate or advanced English
- Preferably 3 years or more in support, administration and/or architecture of multiplatform environments or experience in structured voice, data, audio and video cabling installations.
- Maintenance of Hardware and Software Linux (Debian & Red Hat)
- Windows Server 2019 & 2022
- Network services (DHCP, DNS, ADDS, WDS, RDS, SNMP, RRAS/VPN)
- Routing & Switching
- Database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Shell Scripting (Windows & Linux)
- Perl and/or C programming
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix)
- Structured cabling.
- Audio/Video connections and configurations
- Able to work in multicultural groups.
