As a member of the Technical Operations team within PE, you will design, build and manage a world class infrastructure to support NWEA’s products and mission. Responsibilities:
•Install, configure, maintain and automate multiple Redhat/CentOS Linux environments via Puppet and Foreman •Participate in continuous integration efforts and Agile software development processes to support regular software releases for our SaaS platform •Lead the evaluation, selection and deployment of new technologies and tools •Work with project managers, department heads and team members to determine project approaches, parameters and priorities •Work with colleagues to optimize overall system performance. This includes working with applications, network, storage, database and server technology •Provide support to internal and external clients, including participation in the 24×7 on-call rotation •Perform system audits, document findings, and publish recommendations •Keep abreast of technical developments to ensure the NWEA is able to take advantage of industry advances
