Position Overview

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join the Sonatype Operations team. The team has a wide range of responsibilities to build, scale, and maintain the company’s technical infrastructure, including Maven Central, CI, and hosted data services. Some of the technologies we use include Ansible, AWS, Atlassian Bamboo, and Datadog.

Position Focus

• Develop infrastructure to enable rapid deployment, effective monitoring, and high availability in a large-scale UNIX environment.

• Write tools to automate maintenance of machines and services.

• Work closely with other development teams to ensure that products are designed with scale, operability, performance, and ease-of-use in mind.

• Develop and maintain a robust CI system
