An American icon, Fender was born in Southern California and has built a worldwide influence extending beyond the studio and the stage. The Sr. Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the 24-month planning process which includes conducting stakeholder alignment meetings, performing analytics and presenting deliverables to gain approval to execute finished good production/receipt plan. About the Job:
Partner with Product Team and Sourcing on NPI launches by setting launch qtys based on global forecasts and aligned safety stock settings by region
Understand and analyze product line inventory to determine regional allocations, opportunities to reduce E&O, balance DC network, and monthly cause of change based on demand changes or OTD/Adherence
Use Logility & SAP data to analyze, process, and release the monthly production schedule to Factory & OEMs
Provide data/analysis to drive improvement to production frequency, optimized production plans, and regional inventory strategies
Develop tools/spreadsheets/processes to aid in data analysis and to understand and optimize/improve production planning processes; make recommendations for changes.
Provide summaries of sales impact and expected recovery timing as an output of factory adherence data and on time delivery analytics/trends
Update and analyzes manufacturing capacity plan to ensure it meets the forecasted requirements
Ownership of creating monthly capacity charts, issue sheets, NPI build status reporting for respective product lines
Develop SIOP decision sheets including demand insights, inventory position, and production data to be reviewed in various monthly meetings
Develop, present, and follow up timely on topics discussed in Supply Review, or other functional meetings
Lead annual strategy and budget planning process for responsible PLs
What You Need:
3+ years supply planning experience or relevant supply chain operations experience
Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other Analytics based degree)
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, question status quo, show curiosity
MS Office, SAP, Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse tools (BW, Tableau)
Intermediate to expert Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, Tableau, etc.)
Logility experience preferred (open to other planning system experience)
Business acumen, sound judgement, adapts well to change
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands with the ability to resolve conflict and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Works well in team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written/oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others and communicate with full transparency to build trust and credibility
$60,000 — $120,000/year
