Who You Are
Education products are essential to brightwheel’s future as we work to deliver tools that free up time for schools, teachers, and families so they can focus on delivering excellent early education. The Director of Supply Chain & Operations ensures we can produce efficiently and meet customer needs. This role oversees procurement, product creation, and fulfillment, and requires strong experience in operations and supply chain management.
What You’ll Do
• Run and scale operations: Oversee operational quality and performance, develop plans aligned with company goals, and lead strategic initiatives to expand production capacity.
• Support education business growth: Collaborate with Design, Marketing, Finance, and Digital Product teams to drive key initiatives and deliver high‑impact outcomes.
• Improve current operations: Establish and evaluate near‑term and long‑term goals, aligning operations with business growth.
• Implement process enhancements: Lead operational and supply chain process changes to help the business achieve its objectives.
• Build a strong organization: Recruit top talent and mentor emerging leaders.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in supply chain or operations
• Direct management background in manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics, ideally in a high‑growth setting
• Demonstrated ability to design and manage operations for maximum efficiency and output
• Experience creating budgets and business plans
• Ability to introduce processes that expand capacity and efficiency in a growing business
• Proven success leading operations in high‑growth environments
• Experience measuring supply chain performance using data and metrics
$135,000 – $215,000 per year
Brightwheel is dedicated to pay equity and provides a competitive compensation package that includes salary, equity, and benefits.
