Spotify is seeking energetic students who love music and are eager to grow. This is more than a typical internship. Our paid program offers the chance to learn what it’s really like to work at Spotify while exploring the inner workings of a rapidly expanding company. The summer internship lasts about 10 weeks, beginning in early June.
Business Interns are assigned to teams that match their studies and interests.
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll help shape how artists and fans connect with Spotify out in the world. You’ll work with a large, diverse team of brand managers, creatives, designers, copywriters, producers, strategists, experiential leads, and brand specialists. The program provides a fast-paced introduction to music and content marketing, and your contributions will influence how people experience music.
As a Customer Success Intern, you’ll support daily tasks throughout the campaign lifecycle alongside the Customer Success Management team. You’ll play an essential role in the team, and your work will help shape how listeners experience music.
As an Editorial Intern, you’ll take part in projects involving high-quality audiobook playlist creation, strategies to reach new audiences across varied demographics, and improvements to internal processes used to measure success. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics and deeply engaged with the book community across all genres. Your work will influence how listeners experience audiobooks.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be a key member of our London Internship cohort in one of the following areas:
Marketing:
• Assist the Marketing team in developing and executing creative campaigns with both internal and external partners, focusing on artist, partner, original content, or consumer marketing.
• Work closely with Spotify’s internal Marketing teams and various external partners to support local and global campaigns and approvals.
Customer Success:
• Create or update sales orders.
• Request inventory availability for media plans.
• Pull audience insights for RFPs and post-campaign reports.
• Handle IO processing, campaign bookings, and approvals.
• Complete third-party brand measurement requests and creative groupings.
• Prepare kickoff decks and mid/post-campaign reports.
• Manage production requests or submissions.
• Coordinate with outsourcing partners to ensure requests are accurate and completed.
• Lead or participate in high-level projects for account management.
• Support onboarding, scheduling, and logistics.
• Manage unique requests for major accounts and campaigns.
• Organize planning and strategy sessions.
• Work with cross-functional partners on shared initiatives.
• Follow internal processes, guidelines, and workflows.
Editorial:
• Work closely with US editors to develop strategies and processes that improve tracking of key metrics.
• Create a project that expands editorial programming opportunities for underrepresented voices and artists.
Who You Are
• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• You plan to graduate in 2026 or 2027.
• You already have valid work authorization for the country where this role is based, lasting from June through August 2026.
• You’re available from June 15 to August 21, 2026.
• You are highly self-motivated.
• You have knowledge of and enthusiasm for the global music industry, genres, subgenres, music history, key figures, and reliable research sources.
• You are passionate about content development and the entertainment industry.
• You collaborate well with others.
• You’re curious about production, storytelling, and crafting clear consumer messaging.
• You are skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides, and can work with systems such as CRMs, OMSs, ad servers, and other digital media tools (Customer Success).
Where You’ll Be
• You will work in our London office.
• Our internship program includes in-office events and networking, so we ask interns to come into the office three days per week.
